As I mentioned in Monday's post I took a few photos of all the changes going on in the front borders and pots as well as the rest of the garden and I thought you might care for a wee nosey. The two front borders and the pots are the only part of the garden I can see from my windows so I want these borders to look especially lovely for me this year. I'm pleased with how they're starting to look but wish I'd purchased about a tonne more tulips than I did, I also didn't plant anywhere near as many daffodils as I should have but no matter, I shall rectify this matter next year.
Anyhoo, below is how the front borders are looking at the moment, no doubt they'll be changing a fair bit over the coming weeks as I have scattered a few packets of wildlower seeds on these two beds, in amongst the flowers, in the hopes of filling in the gaps and getting lots and lots more lovely flowers.
I also treated myself to this lovely little box plant at the weekend, how very formal I hear you say, damn right.
The seeds in my growhouse are also coming on a treat.
The garden is really start to pick up pace now and I can't tell you how excited I am about that!
very nice and happy garden!
ReplyDeleteThanks, it is where I'm happiest so I'm glad that shows :)
DeleteGosh it all looks so lovely - even in it's semi state of blooming. But I bet it's going to look even more fabulous and gorgeous when it all comes together.
