ramshaw lodge

A few weeks ago (yes, you heard that right, I'm a tad behind!) me, my mum and my aunty went to an open garden event.

It's a garden I sort of knew from years before as my little sister used to dance at the annual garden party held here but I'd never properly explored the garden before. So armed with a map and a camera we ventured into the unknown.

The house is beautiful, we all could see ourselves at home on that veranda there. The garden however had got very wild indeed, mainly consisting of woodland, other than a rather large collection of Rhododendrons and Azaleas, wild flowers had taken over. I did like that the garden was a bit rough round the edges though, to me it was part of its charm, not sure if my mum and aunty would agree with me though.

What do you think? I quite like the house's faded glory...

  3. I love this house! I wish I could've seen what it looks like on the inside with all the windows open. I bet there were spectacular views of the garden no matter where you looked. And I would love to sit by that circular bay window!
